StreamPal is a desktop application for live streamers. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at panosimsiridis@gmail.com.
StreamPal is a locally installed desktop application. It runs entirely on your computer. We do not operate servers that receive, store, or process your personal data. All configuration, credentials, and preferences are stored in files on your own machine.
StreamPal stores the following data exclusively on your device in a local configuration file (.env and JSON files in the application directory):
This data never leaves your device except to communicate directly with the respective third-party service APIs.
When voice recognition is active, StreamPal captures audio from your microphone. Audio is processed as follows:
When the Shorts Creator feature is enabled, StreamPal processes local video files from your OBS replay buffer output folder. These clips are processed on your device using FFmpeg and then uploaded by you to destinations you configure (e.g. a Discord webhook). We do not receive copies of your clips.
StreamPal does not currently collect crash reports or diagnostic telemetry automatically.
StreamPal integrates with the following third-party platforms. When you connect an account, StreamPal communicates directly with that platform's API using credentials stored on your device. We do not act as an intermediary or retain data from these services.
When you authenticate with a third-party service through StreamPal, you are directed to that service's own login page. StreamPal receives an access token from the service and stores it locally on your device. We never see your password for any service.
OAuth scopes requested from each service are limited to what is needed for the features you use:
We do not sell, trade, or transfer your data to any third party. The only data transmissions that occur are between your device and the third-party service APIs you have explicitly connected. We have no visibility into or access to those transmissions.
All data StreamPal stores is located in the application folder on your device. You can delete it at any time by:
StreamPal is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
If we update this Privacy Policy, we will post the new version at the same URL and update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the application after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
